This low-gloss fluoropolymer coating holds its original color longer than silicone polyester or acrylic coatings, even in the most punishing environments. Butler offers a wide spectrum of standard and custom fluoropolymer coatings for roof and wall systems. The color chart below illustrates all of the standard colors for each type of Butler product. These colors are an approximation for computer viewing only; to receive actual color chips or color samples, check with your local Butler Builder®.

The standard exterior paint coating for all Butler panels and trim is the Butler-Cote system, consisting of a Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000® coating.
The Butler-Cote system resists the chalking and fading that often leaves a building looking drab and dated. Our 25-year warranty guarantees that on roof and wall panels chalking will not exceed a rating of #8 and fading will not exceed 5ΔE color difference units. This 25-year warranty also protects against blistering, peeling, cracks, or chipping of the paint coating.
While many manufacturers claim to offer long-term warranties, these are often prorated after a certain time frame. Our Butler-Cote roof and wall panel warranty lasts a full 25 years with no prorating, while adhering to high performance standards.
